Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a registered nurse for the Inpatient Acute Rehab department. This part-time, day-shift role (7:00am–7:30pm) offers a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will deliver safe patient care using the nursing process, coordinate and teach patients and families, and support the rehab team while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid State RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS Certification 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Two years of Cardiac Nursing experience required.
• BSN preferred.

Overview

Department: Inpatient Acute Rehab

Schedule: Days, 7:00am- 7:30pm, 12-hour shifts

Facility: Resurrection Medical Center

Location: Chicago, IL 60631

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Physical Rehabilitation Department. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Current and valid State RN License.

• Two (2) years of Cardiac Nursing experience required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $35.35 to $53.58. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
