Independent contractor RN providing nursing consultation services for a licensed 6-bed Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in San Rafael, CA.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine health assessments, including resident vital signs
• Review medications and Medication Administration Records (MARs)
• Monitor residents' health status and identify follow-up needs
• Consult with Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and management
• Complete required monthly and quarterly nursing reports
• Provide medical consultation and telephone consultation for urgent medical/medication questions as needed
• Train newly hired staff on medication administration and evaluate medication competency
• Help ensure compliance with applicable ICF regulations and standards

Requirements

• Current California RN license in good standing
• Strong clinical assessment and medication management skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
• Experience with ICFs/residential services or individuals with I/DD (preferred)
• Knowledge of California ICF regulations (plus)
