Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring resident health, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and certification as a Registered Nurse.
• Caring demeanor and compassionate personality.
• Leadership and mentorship abilities.
• Ability to work scheduled shift.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Enhance clinical care and quality of life for residents while protecting rights.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Daily checks to ensure prescribed treatment is properly administered and evaluate status.
• Keep RN Supervisor informed about resident and staff status.
• Implement changes as directed by the RN Supervisor or Director of Nurses.
• Provide professional nursing procedures per facility policies.
• Complete all nursing documentation at admission, discharge, transfer, etc.
• Give and receive nursing reports at shift start and end.
• Investigate complaints and document findings for supervisor.
