Job summary

Atchison Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care in line with current nursing theory and hospital standards in Kansas.

The role directs and delegates assignments, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and contributes to patient/family teaching using the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. BSN preferred; ADN required, Kansas license or compact license necessary.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Experience in healthcare with strong communication is essential.
• Licensed RN in Kansas or compact licensure.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and delegate assignments to other staff and supervise patient/family teaching.
• Maintain Standards of Care and Standards of Practice in collaboration with the healthcare team.
