Job summary

Atchison Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver patient care using the nursing process and to mentor junior staff in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

The role requires current RN licensure in Kansas or a compact state, with BLS, ACLS, and PALS within 90 days. ADN completed; BSN preferred. On-site hospital setting with emphasis on safe, quality care.

Qualifications

• Experience in the healthcare setting with exceptional communication skills.
• Completion of accredited ADN program; BSN preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Kansas or compact license; BLS, ACLS, PALS within 90 days of hire.
• Adaptability to standards of care and practice; teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct and delegate assignments to other staff while maintaining patient safety.
