Job summary

Ardent is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for night shift, full-time work in Westwood, NJ. The role involves planning and delivering direct and indirect patient care, coordinating with patients, families, and the healthcare team, and updating care plans as patient conditions change.

Requirements include 1 year ICU experience, NJ RN or multistate license, ACLS and BLS (BLS within 14 days of hire). Epic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
• 1 year ICU experience in acute hospital setting required.
• RN license with New Jersey Board of Nursing or RN Multistate License from the NCL required.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care, develop nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary and communicate changes in patient’s clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.

• Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

Responsibilities

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
