Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center in Westwood, NJ is seeking a day shift, full-time ICU Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care and to develop individualized nursing care plans.

You will communicate changes in a patient’s condition with physicians and the nursing leadership, support a collaborative team, and pursue ongoing professional growth through our benefits and education resources.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
• 1 year ICU experience in acute hospital setting.
• Registered Nurse (RN) with New Jersey Board of Nursing or RN Multistate License from the NCL.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care.
• Develop nursing care plans with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers.

• Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care, developing nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary and communicating changes in patient’s clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
