Job summary

Jobot is seeking a full-time Critical Care Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex conditions in a fast-paced hospital setting in Texas. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, medication administration, monitoring, documentation, and coordination with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. A Texas RN license and BLS are required, with ACLS within 30–90 days as applicable.

Qualifications

  • Active Texas RN license or multistate compact RN license
  • BSN preferred
  • One year of critical care nursing experience preferred
  • New graduate Registered Nurses will be considered
  • Current BLS certification required at the time of hire
  • ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire for experienced nurses or within 90 days for new graduates and nurses new to the specialty
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and patient care skills

  • Provide routine and complex nursing care in a fast-paced acute care environment
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established clinical protocols
  • Closely monitor patient conditions, recognize significant changes, and respond appropriately to emergencies
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of treatments and monitor patients for potential side effects
  • Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, treatments, and care provided
  • Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families
  • Educate patients, family members, and caregivers regarding treatment plans, medications, and available resources
  • Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other members of the multidisciplinary clinical team
  • Make appropriate assignments and delegate responsibilities to other care providers
  • Complete required nursing orientation, Critical Care Department competency validation, and annual competency requirements
