Job summary

System Support is seeking a Clinical Nurse (RN) for a night shift in Ohio. The role focuses on advocating for patients and families while ensuring safe, high-quality care within an inter-professional team.

You will apply nursing processes and evidence-based practice to a diverse caseload and maintain compliance with state regulations. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active Ohio RN license; at least 1 year of recent acute care experience is preferred.

Job overview

The Clinical Nurse is a registered nurse (RN) who partners with and advocates for patients/families/significant others to provide physical, emotional and spiritual support which impacts patient outcomes in a safe environment. The RN functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence and autonomy in the practice of Nursing. The RN utilizes the nursing process in conjunction with evidence-based principles to care for a diverse caseload of patients within the department scope of service. The RN serves as guide, healer, collaborator, teacher, leader and sentry. The RN collaborates with and guides care delivered by the inter-professional team. The RN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Code of Ethics and applicable regulatory standards.

Education

Education: Graduation from accredited school of nursing

• Valid Ohio RN license

Experience

Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital RN experience is required; ICU / critical care experience is preferred.
