Req #: 97400

This is a full time, 40 hours per week, Registered Nurse 2 vacancy open to candidates with greater than 1 year of RN work experience. This is an exempt, salaried role.

Are you looking for a nursing career where compassion, clinical expertise, and meaningful patient relationships come together? Join our hospice team serving Maine's communities in Waldo County out of Rockport and make a lasting difference in the lives of patients and families during one of life's most important journeys. As a Hospice RN, you'll provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes while helping them remain comfortable, supported, and cared for with dignity. Sometimes the most meaningful care isn't a medical intervention—it’s listening to a favorite story, sharing a laugh, providing reassurance, or simply being present when it matters most.

In this role, you'll perform comprehensive patient assessments, manage symptoms, administer treatments, provide patient and family education, and collaborate with physicians, social workers, home health aides, chaplains, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, individualized care. You'll have the autonomy to manage your day while building trusted relationships with patients and families throughout their hospice journey.

This opportunity is ideal for nurses who enjoy working independently, thinking critically, building meaningful connections, and delivering exceptional patient-centered care in the home. If you're looking for a career that offers purpose, flexibility, and the opportunity to make a profound difference every day, we'd love to hear from you.
