UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Hinsdale, IL is seeking a registered nurse to implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate disciplines, and document patient status. You will administer medications, communicate progress, and help ensure safe, effective care across shifts.

This full-time Day shift offers day-one benefits, a sign-on bonus up to $10,000, mileage reimbursement, and options for travel between facilities.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Associate's in Nursing required; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• Driver's license required.
• Auto Insurance (AL) required.

Job Description:

• Implements and monitors patient care plans to ensure effective treatment.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders accurately and promptly.
• Conducts holistic, individualized assessments of each patient considering age, physiological, and psychological status.
• Administers medications and solutions as required.
• Documents all phases of patient status during care.
• Participates in the transfer of patient information to ensure continued quality care.
• Leads and mentors staff to ensure optimal performance and competency in care delivery.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Develops and maintains positive working relationships within the practice and other departments.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
• Other duties as assigned

Additional compensation and location:

Up to a $10,000Sign on Bonus Available

• Schedule: Full-Time/Day
• Shift: Day Shift Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm with e/o weekend or call rotation.
• Location: Barington, Schaumburg, Batavia, Carol Stream, Hoffman Estates, Itasca, Medinah, Roselle, St Charles, and Steamwood Area with travel to LaGrange Hospital for meetings/Orientation etc.
• Mileage reimbursement provided: $0.76 per mile
• Flexible scheduling with Full Time, Part Time and PRN available
• Company provided phone and laptop/iPad

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 1+ acute care clinical experience [Preferred]
• 1+ home health experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Driver's License (DL) [Required]
• Auto Insurance (AL) [Required]
