AdventHealth in Hinsdale, IL is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a full-time days position. You will collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, monitor status, and implement care plans for cardiology and interventional procedures.

The role emphasizes patient advocacy, accurate documentation, and leadership to mentor staff while ensuring high-quality outcomes in a suburban Great Lakes region setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1+ years of nursing experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• RN license required.
• Driver's license required.
• Auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the transfer of patient information to ensure continued quality care.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Develops and maintains positive working relationships within the practice and other departments.
• Implements and monitors patient care plans to ensure effective treatment.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient status as appropriate.
• Serves as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders accurately and promptly.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
• Leads and mentors staff to ensure optimal performance and competency in care delivery.
• Conducts holistic, individualized assessments of each patient considering age, physiological, and psychological status.
• Administers commonly used drugs and solutions in Cardiology and IR procedures.
• Documents all phases of patient status while responsible for their care.

Shift: Days Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm (weekend coverage every 8-10 weeks)
Location: Great Lakes Regions - AdventHealth territory South suburb, LaGrange, Hinsdale, Western Springs, Lemont, Bolingbrook, Romeoville, Downers Grove, Westchester

Mileage reimbursement provided: $0.76 per mile
