The purpose of the Endoscopy Department at Advocate Christ Medical Center is to provide the outpatient with quality care through assessment, planning, intervention, education, preparation and performing GI/Pulmonary endoscopy procedures.
Endoscopy provides Phase I and II recovery care for the endoscopy patient to be discharged home after the procedure;, utilizing the same nursing process and standards as mentioned above.
