Job summary

Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse with GI/Endoscopy experience for a .5 FTE role on 10 hour days. You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care within the GI/endoscopy department, following the nursing process and established standards to ensure safe, quality care.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited nursing program, holds an Illinois RN license, and has BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

REGISTERED NURSE: GI/ENDOSCOPY .5 10 hour days.

Must Have Gi/Endoscopy Experience

Where You Will Work

The purpose of the Endoscopy Department at Advocate Christ Medical Center is to provide the outpatient with quality care through assessment, planning, intervention, education, preparation and performing GI/Pulmonary endoscopy procedures.

Endoscopy provides Phase I and II recovery care for the endoscopy patient to be discharged home after the procedure;, utilizing the same nursing process and standards as mentioned above.

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
