Loyola Medicine in the Chicago area is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the 3NW General Medicine unit. The unit handles diverse cases including heart failure, GI bleed, COPD, and chest pain.

The RN will perform standard Med/Surg duties with telemetry, trach care, and line management as part of a skilled team. Applicants must have an accredited nursing degree (BSN or ADN), be a BLS Provider, hold an Illinois nursing license, and preferably have Med/Surg/Telemetry experience.

Qualifications

• A Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN
• BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
• Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire
• Experience in Med Surg / Telemetry preferred

3NW General Medicine is a 34 bed unit. Some examples of our patient population includes heart failure, GI bleed, COPD exacerbation, psych, infection, falls, chest pain, and detox. Skills include trach care, dressing changes, chest tube management, central line management, phlebotomy and pleurex catheter management.

What Registered Nurse RN will need

Pay Range

BSN Pay Range: $34.76 - $59.92 per hour

ADN Pay Range: $32.90 - $57.06 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
