Position Summary

Under supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, the RN is responsible for a group of residents/patients during a shift. Responsibilities include assessment, care planning, implementation, evaluation, and supervision of nursing assistants. Adheres to all policies, procedures, and standards of care, including the State Nurse Practice Act and JCAHO standards where applicable.

Minimum Requirements

• Licensed in Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to operate necessary supplies and equipment
• Ability to calculate drug dosages
• Meet all health requirements legally mandated
• Effective communication skills with residents, families, staff, and community members
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
• Basic computer skills with a willingness to learn company applications
• Experience in fast-paced environments; post-acute care experience preferred
