Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital focused on inpatient post-ICU care. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time night shifts at the North Knoxville Powell unit.

You will perform admissions, assessments, documentation, and coordinating care for acutely ill patients. We offer a $15,000 sign-on bonus, extensive orientation, tuition assistance, a clinical ladder, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and transfers to the unit.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Document timely and accurately using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment data including labs and telemetry.
• Transcribe and process medical orders accurately; respond to codes.
• Counsel patients and families; provide education as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
