Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital-Madison in Madison, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our inpatient unit on a 7:00 P.M. to 7:30 A.M. shift. This role offers a $42.36–$60.50 hourly wage with night/weekend differentials and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

As an RN, you will admit patients, conduct systematic assessments, document accurately, and collaborate with the care team to provide compassionate recovery support to critically ill patients.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN license is required.
• BLS at hire.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Document timely and accurately using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
