Select Specialty Hospital Oakland is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time day shift in a critical illness recovery unit in Pontiac, MI. You will welcome admissions and transfers, perform comprehensive patient assessments, document thoroughly, and interpret labs and telemetry to guide care.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN license is required.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and transfers to the unit.
• Perform ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Document accurately using appropriate systems.
• Interpret labs and telemetry data.
• Transcribe and process medical orders correctly.
• Respond to rapid response and Code events.
• Counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Location: Pontiac, Michigan (7th & 8th floor of Trinity Health Oakland Hospital)

Registered Nurse (RN) - Full Time Days

Hours: 7:00 am - 7:30 pm

$15,000 Sign-on Bonus!

Pay: Up to $52.00 per hour (based on experience)

$3.50 shift differentials for nights and $3.00 weekends

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events
• Instruct and counsel patients/families
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License
• BLS is required at hire.
