Job summary

Perimeter Behavioral of Forrest City is seeking full-time Day Shift RNs for a residential facility in Arkansas. We provide adolescent residential services and deliver comprehensive nursing care, admission/discharge support, and teamwork with the treatment team to address both mental health and physical wellbeing.

The role requires BLS certification; prior pediatric or behavioral health experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Currently certified in basic life support (BLS).
• Prefer some previous experience in healthcare, pediatric or behavioral health.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and documents patient information from nursing assessments and information from family/guardian.
• Evaluates residents' care and produces nursing assessments and care plans.
• Develops measurable goals on the multidisciplinary treatment plan with the team and resident.
• Assists patients through admission and discharge processes.
• Documents nursing interventions and resident responses in progress notes.
• Provides general nursing care as required.
• Develops therapeutic relationships with residents.
• Encourages resident independence and participation.
• Collaborates with the treatment team on discharge plans.

Perimeter Behavioral of Forrest City offers adolescents residential services. We are seeking individuals to join our team who is committed to improving the lives of who's impacted by mental illness.

The responsibilities for a Register Nurse include the following:

• Identifies and documents patient information based on data collected through nursing assessments and information obtained through family and/or primary caregiver or guardian
• Evaluates each resident's care and produces a nursing assessment and up-to-date nursing care plan
• Develops measurable goals on the multi-disciplinary treatment plan that is mutually set with the treatment team and the resident
• Assist patients through admission and discharge processes
• Documents nursing intervention and resident response in progress notes
• Provides general nursing care as required
• Develops a therapeutic relationship with assigned residents
• Encourages resident's independent behavior
• Serves as a role member for the residents
• Assess resident's physical needs and emotional needs
• Collaborates with the treatment team in completing the discharge plans for patients

Qualified Register Nurse candidates should have the following:

• Currently certified in basic life support
• Prefer some previous experience in healthcare preferably with pediatrics or behavioral health. New graduates are welcome to apply!
• Must be willing to work assigned shifts, which is 6a to 6p
