Job summary

Perimeter Behavioral of Forrest City is seeking full-time Day Shift RNs to join our residential facility in Arkansas. You will perform nursing assessments, develop care plans, and support adolescents with mental health needs in a compassionate, resident-centered setting.

Required: Arkansas RN license (compact acceptable), BLS certification, and preference for pediatrics or behavioral health experience. New graduates welcome. Shifts are 6a–6p or 6p–6a with weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Current Arkansas RN licensure or compact license.
• Currently certified in basic life support.
• Prefer some experience in healthcare, pediatrics or behavioral health.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and documents patient information from nursing assessments.
• Evaluates resident care and develops nursing care plan.
• Develops goals on the multidisciplinary treatment plan with the team and resident.
• Assists patients through admission and discharge processes.
• Documents nursing interventions and resident responses in progress notes.
• Provides general nursing care as required.
• Develops a therapeutic relationship with assigned residents.
• Encourages resident independence.
• Serves as a role model for residents.
• Assesses residents' physical and emotional needs.
• Collaborates with the treatment team on discharge plans.
