Job summary

A healthcare organization in Forrest City is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse to provide quality nursing care to adolescents. Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) Full-Time Days at Perimeter Healthcare Careers

Perimeter Behavioral of Forrest City, a Joint Commission accredited residential certified facility, offers adolescents residential services. We are seeking individuals committed to improving the lives of those impacted by mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Identify and document patient information based on nursing assessments and information obtained through family and/or primary caregiver or guardian.
• Evaluate each resident's care and produce a nursing assessment and up-to-date nursing care plan.
• Develop measurable goals on the multi-disciplinary treatment plan that is mutually set with the treatment team and the resident.
• Assist patients through admission and discharge processes.
• Document nursing intervention and resident response in progress notes.
• Provide general nursing care as required.
• Develop a therapeutic relationship with assigned residents.
• Encourage resident's independent behavior.
• Serve as a role member for the residents.
• Assess resident's physical needs and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with the treatment team in completing the discharge plans for patients.

Qualifications

• Currently certified in Basic Life Support.
• Preferred some previous experience in healthcare, preferably with pediatrics or behavioral health. New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Must be willing to work assigned shifts, which is 6a to 6p or 6p to 6a and rotate weekend shifts.
