Job summary

Shreveport Rehabilitation Hospital in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time day shift. You will provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care, using the comprehensive nursing process, and develop individualized care plans with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff.

The role requires current RN licensure and BLS certification; inpatient rehab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross (online certification is not acceptable).
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation).
• Develop individualized nursing care plans with patients, families and interdisciplinary staff.
• Communicate clinically significant changes in patient condition to physicians, nursing supervisor/manager and team members.
• Engage in and support discharge planning to ensure safe transitions of care.

Position Summary:

Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:
