Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Jackson is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time day shifts in Jackson, MS. The role supports admission/transfers, conducts patient assessments, and ensures accurate documentation.

The position offers a 7:00 am–7:00 pm schedule (three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends), a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits including PTO, health plans, and education support.

Qualifications

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
