Job summary

Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Jackson, located in Jackson, TN, is seeking registered nurses to join our residential and acute treatment team for children and adolescents.

You will provide quality nursing care, assess and plan care, participate in multidisciplinary teams, and maintain a safe therapeutic environment. Active TN RN license or compact license is required; prior behavioral health experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the State of Tennessee or compact license.
• Ability to provide quality nursing care to behavioral health patients.
• Experience with adolescents and residential/acute treatment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Providing quality and excellent nursing care to assigned behavioral health children and adolescents
• Regularly assess, plan, implement and evaluate each resident’s care and produce a comprehensive nursing assessment care and current nursing care plan
• Develops measurable goals on the Multi-disciplinary Treatment Plan that are mutually set with the treatment team, and resident
• Complete daily progress notes for assigned residents
• Provides a safe, therapeutic environment that protects resident's rights
• Maintains professional relationshipwith patients, family members and the staff of the Facility
