Job summary

A critical illness recovery hospital in Tucson is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. This full-time position includes a structured orientation program and a generous benefits package, including tuition reimbursement for a BSN, a 401(k) with company matching, and extensive PTO. The RN will be responsible for patient assessments, documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team to provide exceptional care. Candidates must possess a valid RN license and BLS certification, with ACLS required within the first six months of employment.

• BLS certification at hire.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Conduct systematic patient assessment.
• Document using appropriate systems in a timely manner.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data.
• Ensure accurate transcription and processing of medical orders.
• Respond competently to rapid response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule: Full-time Day Shift - 3 12 hour shifts per week with rotating weekends
