Select Specialty Hospital - Daytona Beach is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Day shift in Daytona Beach, FL. This critical illness recovery hospital provides inpatient post-ICU care to chronically critically ill patients, with RNs delivering compassionate, high-quality care at every step.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN license.
• BLS required at hire; ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for post-ICU/chronically critically ill patients.
• Monitor and interpret patient vitals, labs, and telemetry.
• Transcribe and ensure accuracy of medical orders.
• Document assessments and care using hospital systems.
• Educate patients and families and support discharge planning.

• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry

Minimum Qualifications
