Select Specialty Hospital in Flint, MI is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time, three 12-hour shifts weekly (6:45am–7:15pm). Compensation ranges from $42.00 to $56.23 per hour, based on experience, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

The role emphasizes admissions, assessments, documentation, and patient education within a high-acuity post-ICU setting. Minimum qualifications include active RN license and BLS; ACLS within 6 months of hire.

• BLS required at hire and ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Admissions and transfers to the unit.
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
