AMG Specialty Hospital - Central Indiana Muncie Campus is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for day shifts. The facility emphasizes high-quality patient care in the acute setting with ICU experience and national certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana Registered Nurse Licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• RN will be responsible for direct and indirect patient care in the acute care setting.
• Must communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and coworkers, including diagnostic results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with supervision.
• Shift Differentials are paid for all Weekend Shifts.

Some of the medical conditions that are commonly treatedinclude but are not limited to; Respiratory Failure requiring ventilation,vapotherm, high flow, bipap, cpap, and nasal cannula. Depending on thecomplexity of these patients, they can require sedation/pain management,pressor management, and cardiac/anti-arrhythmic management. Complicatedinfections requiring long-term IV antibiotics. Chronic non-healing woundsrequiring extensive treatment with wound vacs and frequent dressing changes.RN'swillberesponsible for direct and indirect patient carein the acute caresetting. Ability to communicate with physicians, CCO/co-workers, as appropriateabout changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnosticstudies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes inconditionor response to treatment. Additionally, is able to performgeneral nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. ShiftDifferentials are paid for allWeekend Shifts!
