AMG Specialty Hospital-Northwest Indiana is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Supervisor (RN) for night shifts, with ICU/LTAC or post-acute experience and a minimum of 2 years in the field. The role includes direct patient care, leadership responsibilities, and adherence to nursing standards.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of employment.
• ICU, LTAC, Critical Care, or Post-Acute experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as required based on staffing and patient acuity.
• Communicate with physicians/CCO/co-workers about changes in patient condition.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Represent administration during any event occurring in their absence.
• Foster a culture of professionalism and accountability.

While on duty is authorized and designated bythe Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) to assume overall responsibility for clinicalnursing practice. Provides for continuity in decision making and consistency innursing practice by assuring that nursing and hospital standards and objectivesare met. Acts as a resource and support person for the nursing staff. Represents administration during any eventoccurring their absence. Embraces anddemands a culture of professionalism and accountability. Responsible for fostering a positive milieu. Keeps CCO and CEOapprised of situations that may place facility at risk. Provides direct patientcare as required based on staffing and patient acuity. Communicates withphysicians/CCO/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinicalcondition. Responds quickly andaccurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
