Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital - Central Indiana Muncie Campus is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse for night shifts. The LPN provides direct and indirect patient care, communicates changes in condition to the physician and team, and maintains regulatory compliance under RN supervision.

The facility offers higher-than-market hourly rates, a $7,500 sign-on bonus or tuition reimbursement, weekend shift differentials, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical and disability

Qualifications

• Active Indiana LPN Licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification (company paid to obtain within 90 days).
• Minimum of six months to one year related work experience.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Maintain communication with physicians and team about changes in patient condition.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties across departments as needed.

The LPN provides direct and indirect patientcare services that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care;meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care thatreflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations,under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Maintain regulatory agencyrequirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures and standards.Communicate with physicians and team members about changes in patient's clinicalcondition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respondquickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments withadequate supervision. Shift Differentials are paid for all WeekendShifts!
