Atrium Health Pineville Mother-Baby is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead daily operations in a fast-paced postpartum unit. This full-time role covers 36 hours per week with three 12-hour day shifts, plus weekend and holiday rotations.
You’ll supervise staff, coordinate patient care, support lactation services, and promote Baby-Friendly practices while pursuing BSN and professional certifications. BLS is required; two years of nursing experience preferred.

Atrium Health Pineville Mother-Baby is a 22-bed fast-paced unit caring for postpartum women and their newborns in a couplet care model. We care for low-to-high-risk patients and care for postpartum patients on Magnesium. We are designated by Baby-Friendly USA as a Baby-Friendly Hospital and focus on lactation support. We are designated by ANCC as a Pathways to Excellence Hospital and are on the Magnet journey to nursing excellence. Our unit is a strong teamwork-focused environment with opportunities to grow and learn new skills. We encourage our nurses to get certified in maternal-newborn care. There are many ways to get involved through various small unit-based committees, including Unit Based Council to impact unit culture and patient care.
Responsible for the direct provision of patient care and for assisting the manager with daily operations to include but not limited to coordination of patient care/outcomes, allocation of human and fiscal resources, communications, patient throughput, program development and oversight, patient, physician and employee rounding, selection, development, and retention of staff, clinical supervision and performance appraisal, performance improvement activities, service recovery and compliance with regulatory agency requirements. Maintains clinical and professional competency asappropriate tothe population of patients served.
