Job summary

Texas Health Resources seeks a Registered Nurse for the ICU/Rapid Response Float Pool in Dallas. This full-time night position requires 36 hours per week, with weekends and holidays. The role floats to the Rapid Response Team and includes orientation at the Arlington corporate office within the first 1–5 days.

The ideal candidate has an RN license in Texas, ICU experience, and BCLS/ACLS with NRP training within 90 days. Numerous growth opportunities and a supportive team are highlighted.

Qualifications

  • Nursing Diploma or Associate degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • 1 year RN experience or completion of RN residency.
  • 1 year ICU experience strongly preferred.
  • TX RN license required on hire.
  • BCLS required prior to independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
  • ACLS required within 90 days of hire.
  • NRP required within 90 days of hire for NICU assignments.
  • NRP/Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation training required within 90 days for floating staff.

Work hours: Full Time, 36 hours weekly, Nights 7pm-7am; weekend and holiday requirements

Training: Must be able to attend orientation and training at the corporate office in Arlington 8am-5pm during the first 1-5 days of hire

Here’s What You Need
  • Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or
  • Associate’s degree in Nursing required or
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
  • 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
  • 1 year of ICU experience strongly preferred
  • Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire and
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required and maintained quarterly and
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire and
  • NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program for staff floating to areas where they will be delivering care and resuscitating neonates required within 90 days of hire and
  • NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program For staff floating to areas where they will be delivering care and resuscitating neonates required within 90 days of hire
