Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PCU/ICU float pool at the Ann Arbor hospital. The position offers a 12-hour night shift with a pay range of $45.77-$51.53 per hour plus shift premiums for afternoons, overnights, and weekends.

The RN delivers patient-centered care using the nursing process, floating within our Ann Arbor facility. Float Pool roles provide scheduling flexibility, orientation, and training on our equipment, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Requires current Michigan Nursing License.
• Graduation from accredited nursing program.
• One year of recent nursing experience in a hospital with similar patient populations.
• New hires must have a BSN degree or agree to obtain BSN within five years.
• Canadian Nurses are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Float within ICU/PCU at the Ann Arbor hospital.
• Adapt care to age, developmental, cultural and spiritual needs.
• Serve as a resource and participate in orientation and training for equipment and procedures.
• Support flexible scheduling and maintain safe patient ratios.

Position Purpose:

The Registered Nurse Provides quality patient centered care considering age specific, developmental, cultural and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and application of the nursing process. They consistently integrate concepts of relationship-based care into practice and serves as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit. The Nursing Resource Pool offers you increased flexibility in your scheduling, while allowing you to float only at our Ann Arbor hospital. We support our employees with a focused orientation and training about our equipment, processes, and procedures. This makes our float pools a reliable resource for our units, which means more manageable patient ratios. We are currently hiring ICU Float RN's, ICU experience required

Shifts Available:

Day or Night shift

Status:

Available: Full time or part time (benefit eligible) - 48 or 72 hours per pay period (Every two weeks) Minimum requirement of working 32 hours on the weekend within a 4 week schedule

Required Qualifications
