Qualifications

Fairview is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) on the Float Pool at the Woodwinds Hospital located in Woodbury, MN. The Float Pool RN will float to a variety of units including Med/Surg, Orthopedics, Oncology, Telemetry, ICU and/or ED! This unique department is a specialty group comprised of highly skilled experts that support patient care throughout the hospital. Woodwinds Health Campus opened its 86-bed hospital in August 2000. Located on 30 acres of pristine wetlands in Woodbury, MN, it’s the only hospital in the Southeast Metro area. Woodwinds provides convenient, comprehensive, and quality health care for the community. We're known for attention to detail - and attention to patients - and the calming ambiance is enhanced by the surrounding woods and wetlands.

Schedule

This position will be working a 0.75 FTE (60 hours every two weeks) working 12 hour shifts (7:00PM - 7:30AM), on the Night shift, with an every third weekend rotation and a holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates the ability to advance care by utilizing standards, guidelines, care pathways and continuous improvement to enhance patient outcomes.
• Promotes a culture of evidence based practice (EBP)

Required Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
• MN Registered Nurse (RN) License

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of RN Experience
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (American Heart Assoc) depending on the unit and patient population
