Job Overview

Fairview is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team at our Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury, MN.

Schedule

This position will be working 0.75 FTE (60 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 12 hours on the DAY shift, variable schedule and will also work every third weekend.

About the Emergency Department at Woodwinds

• 23 beds
• Average 100 pts per day.
• Each day is different and the environment is fast paced and collaborative

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient needs and identifying expected nursing outcomes;

• Evaluating care and patient response to interventions and expected outcomes;
• Using communication strategies to achieve desirable outcomes;
• Coordinating care with members of the health care team and delegating responsibilities to others as appropriate;
• Demonstrating the ability to advance care by utilizing standards, guidelines, care pathways, and continuous improvement to enhance patient outcomes;
• Promoting a culture of evidence based practice (EBP) by participating in a multitude of available opportunities; and

Required Qualifications
