Lifepoint Health's Centerpoint - Winchester unit is hiring a Float Pool RN to support a 3x12 schedule with 7p–7a shifts, including rotating weekends. The role emphasizes flexible coverage across units with patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Acts as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff; performs evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.

Our Float RNs are adaptable professionals with diverse expertise. They float to almost all areas of the hospital and must be able to adjust to what's needed quickly.

How You'll Contribute

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Associates Degree in Nursing, required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred
• Current RN to practice in the state of KY
• 2 years of critical care experience
• Certifications: BCLS; ACLS & PALS per unit specific requirements
