Backus Hospital in Connecticut invites experienced Registered Nurses to join the Resource Center Float Pool on the 7:00pm–7:30am shift, including every other weekend and holiday. You will deliver high-quality nursing care across patient populations while supporting staffing needs during overnight hours.

The role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and a commitment to patient outcomes in a comprehensive healthcare network with ample growth opportunities and competitive benefits.

Formación

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification requirements.
• Current unrestricted State of CT Registered Nurse license.

Responsabilidades

• Provide RN care in the Resource Center Float Pool.
• Collaborate with nursing and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Participate in cross-team coverage for evenings/nights and weekend/holiday rotation.

Resource Center RNs are specially trained to care for all patient populations and serve as the Float Pool for Backus Hospital. This dynamic team consists of highly skilled nursing professionals who showcase strong collaboration, flexibility, and communication skills to deliver the highest quality of care to our patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing
• One (1) year recent acute RN experience
• Current unrestricted State of CT Registered Nurse license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for Critical Care track
• Ability to obtain and maintain department specific certifications.
