Job summary

Backus Hospital in Connecticut is seeking Resource Center RNs to support a dynamic Float Pool. You will care for diverse patient populations and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient care across shifts.

The role emphasizes collaboration, flexibility, and strong communication as you rotate through units. We offer competitive benefits, advancement opportunities, and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• One year recent acute RN experience.
• Current unrestricted State of CT Registered Nurse license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for Critical Care track.
• Ability to obtain and maintain department specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide care as part of the Backus Hospital Resource Center Float Pool.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high quality patient care.
• Maintain required certifications and competencies for the department.

Resource Center RNs are specially trained to care for all patient populations and serve as the Float Pool for Backus Hospital. This dynamic team consists of highly skilled nursing professionals who showcase strong collaboration, flexibility, and communication skills to deliver the highest quality of care to our patients and their families.
