Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• One year recent acute RN experience.
• Current unrestricted State of CT Registered Nurse license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for Critical Care track.
• Ability to obtain and maintain department specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care as part of the Resource Center Float Pool.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Demonstrate flexibility to cover varied shifts and patient loads.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold hospital protocols.

Resource Center RNs are specially trained to care for all patient populations and serve as the Float Pool for Backus Hospital.
