Job summary

Park Manor Health & Rehabilitation in Northport, AL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Float Nurse for the day shift. This full-time role covers multiple units, providing direct care, administering medications, and adapting to resident needs across units.

You will work with LPNs and CNAs, maintain documentation, and communicate with residents, families, and the care team. Requirements include an Alabama RN license and CPR/BLS; weekend differential and sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

Shift: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

Weekend Day Shift Differential: +$0.75/hour

Park Manor Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a flexible and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) Float Nurse to join our day shift nursing team.

As an RN Float Nurse, you'll provide nursing coverage across units based on resident and staffing needs. This is a great opportunity for an RN who enjoys variety, works well with different teams, and can confidently adapt to changing clinical needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care across assigned units.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Assess residents and promptly respond to changes in condition.
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing – REQUIRED.
