Job summary

Texas Health Rockwall is hiring a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts (7pm–7am) with 36 hours weekly, weekends and holidays as needed, and self-scheduling. You will float to ICU, Emergency, Med Surg, and Telemetry within the Rockwall campus; training is required at the Arlington corporate office during the first 1–5 days.

Licensure, ACLS/PALS, CPI, and BCLS prerequisites apply. Candidates should hold a Nursing Diploma or an Associate/Bachelor’s in Nursing, with at least 1 year RN

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing as listed
• 1 year RN experience or completion of an RN residency program required
• 1 year ICU or critical care experience strongly preferred
• Texas RN license required upon hire
• BCLS required prior to independent patient care and maintained quarterly
• ACLS required within 90 days of hire
• PALS required within 90 days of hire
• CPI training required within 90 days of hire and kept annually
• Strong confidentiality and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Nursing Diploma required or
• Associate's degree in Nursing required or
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
• 1 year of ICU or critical care experience strongly preferred

• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly
