The VIOS Clinic seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department with float responsibilities. You will provide high-level patient care, follow BCEN standards, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Job description

Role:

Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department with float responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct, high-level patient care utilizing the nursing process, prioritize safety and quality, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes. Model proficiency through precepting new staff, contribute to evidence-based practice, and support a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment. Deliver emergency care up to level 1 trauma designation, adhering to BCEN standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate from an accredited nursing program (less than 3 years' experience), valid RN licensure, at least 6 months of RN experience, and certifications including BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC or ATCN, ACLS, Trauma Nurse Core Course, and NIH Stroke Scale. Must maintain certifications, including BLS, through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
