Texas Health Rockwall invites qualified RNs to join as a Float – Critical Care, full-time nights. You’ll float among ICU, Emergency, Med Surg and Telemetry units in a 36-hour weekly schedule, 7pm–7am, with no on-call requirement and flexible self-scheduling within Rockwall Hospital.

Training at the Arlington corporate office is required during the first 1–5 days. Texas RN licensure, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI training within stated timelines are mandatory; ICU/critical care experience is

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Texas RN license required upon hire.
• BCLS required upon hire and maintained quarterly.
• ACLS required within 90 days of hire.
• PALS required within 90 days of hire.
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire and maintained annually.
• 1 year RN experience or completion of RN residency program required.
• 1 year ICU or critical care experience strongly preferred.

Work hours

Training

Must be able to attend training at the corporate office in Arlington from 8am-5pm during the first 1-5 days of hire.

Here’s What You Need

• Nursing Diploma required or
• Associate’s degree in Nursing required or
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
• 1 year of ICU or critical care experience strongly preferred
• Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire and
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire and
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required within 90 days of hire and
