Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Tulsa, OK seeks a Night shift ER Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position. You will provide high-quality emergency care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and document patient care per hospital standards.

The role requires ADN, current OK or multi-state RN license, and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, ENPC/PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS within specified timeframes. You will contribute to patient safety and efficient ED operations.

Qualifications

• ADN required to practice as RN.
• Active OK or multi‑state RN license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days.
• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days (Experienced/Transfer) or 6 months (New Grad).
• ENPC or PALS must be obtained within 90 days (Experienced/Transfer) or 6 months (New Grad).
• TNCC must be obtained within 1 year (Experienced/Transfer) or 24 months (New Grad).
• NIHSS must be obtained within 90 days (Experienced/Transfer) or 6 months (New Grad).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document care per standards.
• Provide age-appropriate nursing care and ensure patient safety.
• Demonstrate growth and development knowledge for unit patients.
• Develop and modify care plans in line with policies and procedures.
• Adhere to Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act requirements.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
• Plan for the provision of patient care including the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.
• Expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Current valid OK or Multi-stateRN License
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• ACLS - Experienced Hire or Transfer must obtain 90 days from hire or transfer. New Grad or New to Specialty must obtain in 6 months from hire or transfer
• ENPC or PALS - Experienced Hire or Transfer must obtain 90 days from hire or transfer. New Grad or New to Specialty must obtain in 6 months from hire or transfer
• TNCC - Experienced Hire or Transfer must obtain 1 year from hire or transfer. New Grad or New to Specialty must obtain in 24 months from hire or transfer
• NIHSS - Experienced Hire or Transfer must obtain 90 days from hire or transfer. New Grad or New to Specialty must obtain in 6 months from hire or transfer
