Job summary

Texas Health Resources in Plano, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the GI Lab on a full-time 7:00a–5:30p schedule with 10-hour shifts. You will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced GI unit and collaborate with a strong leadership team.

The role requires TX RN licensure, BCLS/ACLS/PALS within specified timeframes, and promotes ongoing education and growth opportunities in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Nursing degree required or equivalent; licensure to practice in TX.
  • BCLS and ACLS required within designated timeframes.
  • PALS required within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year RN experience or completion of RN residency.
  • GI/Endoscopy lab exposure preferred.
  • Strict confidentiality and professional demeanor expected.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced GI Lab setting.
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care with a patient-centered approach.
  • Collaborate with the care team and physicians to ensure safety and quality.
  • Maintain documentation and adhere to CLIA/HR regulations.
  • Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care needs.

  • Full Time/Days (7:00a – 5:30p), Monday’s off
  • 10-hour shifts

Here’s What You Need
  • Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or
  • Associate’s degree in nursing required or
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
  • Other – CIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required
  • 1 year of experience a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
  • 6-months direct Endo/GI Lab experience as a RN strongly preferred
  • RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required and
  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire required and
  • PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days of hire required
