Job summary

Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, AZ is seeking an Emergency Services RN to join our team on a PRN/Varied schedule. The role involves direct patient care in the Emergency Department, with 12-hour shifts and availability for a major holiday and two weekend shifts per month.

A current Arizona RN license or Compact license is required. We value teamwork and offer opportunities for growth through a clinical ladder and process-improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Arizona RN license or Compact RN license with Arizona endorsement.
• BSN preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, TNCSS and Handle with Care preferred.
• 1+ years ED or critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current Arizona RN license or Compact RN License with Arizona endorsement, and possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
