Job summary

Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, KY is seeking a qualified ER Services Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 12-bed emergency department. This full-time, mid-shift role runs 3x12 hours from 3 PM to 3 AM, with a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and a strong commitment to patient care.

You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, document care, monitor patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky RN license required (single state or compact).
• BLS within 1 month of hire; ACLS within 6 months; PALS within 6 months.
• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current Kentucky or compact state RN license.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
• Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.

The ER is a 12-bed unit that provides direct patient care to critically ill adult patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

How you'll contribute

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current Active Kentucky RN License Required (single state or compact). If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.

. Additional requirements include:

• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within one month of hire, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of hire
• Education: Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Licenses: Must have a current Kentucky or compact state RN license.
