Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Emergency Services to join our night shift. This is a full-time, in-person role within a rural, 20-bed ED that emphasizes patient-centered care and teamwork.

You will perform assessments, initiate nursing interventions, document care, and collaborate on interdisciplinary plans. A state RN license and BSN are required, with BLS within 30 days and ACLS/PALS within six months; one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license is required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certification within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings.
• Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care.
• Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record.
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient.

What we're looking for
