Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, in Beckley, WV, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the SICU. This full-time night shift role requires an active RN license and an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing, with residency programs available for new grads.

ACLS/PALS within six months and BLS within 30 days are required. The position emphasizes comprehensive patient assessment, evidence-based care, and precise documentation to support medical necessity.

Qualifications

• One year of experience preferred; new grads welcome with residency.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings.
• Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care.
• Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record.
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient.

How you'll contribute

ARegistered Nurse, RNwho excels in this role:

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associates or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferrednew grads encouraged to apply and will be supported through our 1 year residency program
